Line Technician

We are currently searching for an experienced Line Tech for a large manufacturing client


1st Shift:

The scheduled workdays for this position are Monday through Friday from 7:15am to 3:30pm.


$23-25/ hour


Position summary:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all production and facility equipment. Essential job functions & responsibilities:

  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
  • Perform daily machine change overs, as required by production.
  • Fabricate, modify, build and re-build machinery and equipment parts and molds to ensure proper and efficient operation.
  • Operate small equipment (forklifts and man lifts), as required.
  • Assist with inventory levels.
  • Work closely with Engineering on machinery and equipment issues.
  • Work on special projects, as needed.
  • Perform and document machine and equipment Preventive Maintenance.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing and facility maintenance, as required.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

education and experience requirements:

Trade school certificate or Associate degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of electrical and mechanical experience. skills required:

Good communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is required. Able to read blueprints, diagrams, drawings, and maintenance manuals. Able to run shop equipment and skilled in the use of all hand and power tools. Must have working knowledge PC.
