Job Description:
The Warehouse Manager is a highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated individual who will oversee all operations within our warehouse facility. The ideal person will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse, managing a team of warehouse staff, and maintaining accurate inventory records. During certain times, we can also offer the correct person for this role the opportunity to work with our Beefcake Jerky team, allowing the right person for this role to expand their impact and be on the ground floor of two amazing companies
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely receipt of and tracking of goods from suppliers
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations and performance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
- High school diploma required
- Forklift and other warehouse equipment certification preferred
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand; occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch; and may need to operate mid-size equipment such as a forklift or ATV. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
