Construction Project Manager - Commercial General Contractor

Location: Houston, TX


A prominent Commercial General Contractor specializing in a diverse range of commercial projects in the Houston area, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Job Overview: As a Construction Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of commercial construction projects in the Houston region. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of project management expertise, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering projects on time and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to make a significant impact in the commercial construction industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project correspondence.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment among project team members.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Proven success in managing and delivering commercial projects in the Houston area.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
