Title: Part-time Communications Specialist

Location: Malvern PA

Duration: 1 year contract

Hours:

  • 20-30 hours per week
  • The more they can do and take ownership of, the more work they could have assigned
  • Completely flexible on days – but would like sometime to come onsite to be with some of the teams (most people are in Tues-Thurs)

Logistics/ Notes:

  • Comunications group right now is an organic group meaning they have a group of individuals all across J&J in Malvern in other FTE roles just doing this on the side
  • Work is becoming too much so need to hire someone to do this fully and help execute on ideas / projects that they have
  • This role is under the General Manager of the entire Malvern facility – 300+ people, 20 different buildings – Supply Chain, Mnaufacturing, R&D, HR all sit locally there
  • Looking to hire someone to start ASAP – could start as soon as compliant
  • Need a self-starter, eager beever – working with high level individuals at J&J and need someone who will not be afraid to take ownership of this role and create strategy


PR: $20-22/hr


Interview Process: 1 and done onsite with Comm Team (virtual if needed)


Requirements:

-Currently pursuing or achieved a Bachelor degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field

-Experience writing, editing, and proofreading various communication material through undergrad or for corporate environments

-Excellent writing skills for a wide range of platforms, including web and social media content, video and editing skills

-Expertise in Microsoft Suite

-Creativity and strong attention to detail


Preferred:

-Videography experience


Day to Day:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Innovative Medicine Supply Chain Team as a Part-Time Communications Specialist. In this role, you will assist in the development and execution of communication strategies to effectively promote and engage our organization and its initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for creating engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of communication plans and strategies.

- Write, edit, and proofread various communications materials, articles, newsletters, and social media posts.

- Maintain and update the organization's media channels with relevant content and announcements.

- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and create content that aligns with the organization's messaging and branding.

- Monitor and respond to inquiries and comments on social media and other communication channels.

- Assist in organizing and promoting events, both online and offline.

- Measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives and provide reports with key metrics and recommendations for improvement.



Compensation:

$20/hr to $22/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law
