Job Summary:

The position of IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining and protecting the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. Ensuring the systems operate securely, efficiently, and reliably to support AVW business needs.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer servers, firewalls, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support to end users
  • Proactively monitoring for potential issues. Track system health and recognize unusual. network activity, which may involve security-sensitive actions like illicit network access or data transfer
  • Managing database operations - preserve the security, efficiency, and productivity of database management
  • Managing access privileges
  • Managing data backups and recovery needs
  • Monitor server health
  • Maintain confidential information and properly secure confidential information
  • Software Management – Main contact and subject matter expert on all AVW systems
  • Manage building security systems: Open Path - Doors/ADS - Alarm/Surveillance cameras
  • Printer Management
  • Phone System Management
  • Manage, repair, test Conference Room Equipment
  • Create and manage checklist for new hires and terminations
  • Manage IT onboarding emails and deliver IT information to all employees as needed
  • Inventory IT equipment, keep IT storage rooms clean and orderly
  • Create and manage IT change/purchase request form
  • Create and update SOP for all IT processes
  • Audit security access monthly to all systems: folders, network, email, software, door, camera, etc.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned


Qualification / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • A minimum of 3 year experience in relative role
  • Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of network administration, server administration, and security principles.
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Server
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels
