WHO WE ARE

Fringe Studio is a gift and stationery brand based in Southern California. Our art studio is responsible for creating all catalog items and designing custom programs for large retailers. The wide range of our products means there is room for a variety of talent and skills, as well as opportunities to grow or specialize within the company. Fringe strives to match individual creative strengths with appropriate job roles.

Our pet brand, PetShop by Fringe Studio launched in 2017 as an extension of Fringe Studio for Pet Lovers and Pets. We design products such as Dog & Cat Toys, Pet Beds, Pet Bowls and Gifts for Pet Lovers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek an enthusiastic and experienced product photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent photography plus editing skills and a visual style that is professional, compelling, and fun. This person will work closely with our Marketing Manager and Art Director in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.

DUTIES

• Studio and Lifestyle Photo Shoots of product for E-Commerce, Social Media, Print and Key Account sales channels.

• Edit and retouch images to ensure accurate representation of products that meet company standards.

• Work closely with the Marketing team to creatively strategize and plan photography needs.

• Maintain visual consistency of the brand with lighting, styling and editing.

• Oversee the post-production and delivery of all imagery.

• Ensure photography requests are handled in a timely manner.

• Maintain and manage camera and studio equipment.

• Manage and organize photography assets in database through file naming and formatting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (knowledge, skills & abilities)

• 3+ years of Photography and videography experience

• BA in Photography or a related field.

• Expert in photo editing using and Adobe Suite with knowledge of color-correction and composition.

• A portfolio that shows a diverse range of shooting styles, mediums and applications.

• Expert knowledge of camera, lenses, adapters, mounts, and rigs (Canon)

• Expert knowledge in studio lighting, additional lighting techniques, and quality of light.

• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Highly detail oriented.

• Comfortable working in a studio and warehouse setting.

• Must be self-directed, comfortable seeking and taking direction,

and function effectively as part of the larger marketing and art departments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Practical, hands-on experience in video filming and production.

• Storyboarding, Creating the Set, Shooting & Postproduction Editing.

• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and video editing software a plus.

• Knowledge of popular product video production techniques including pre and post-production stages a plus.

• Knowledge of 4k camera picture profiles and recording settings.
