MUST BE LOCAL TO PHOENIX, ARIZONA AREAWe are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer or Engineer with strong expertise in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to join our expanding ServiceNow team. In this role, you’ll design, configure, and enhance CMDB-driven solutions that ensure data accuracy, enable automation, and strengthen capabilities across IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Asset Management.You will collaborate with architects, business analysts, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions with a focus on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.Integrate CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management modules to improve operational visibility and efficiency.Configure identification and reconciliation rules, CI classes, and relationship models.Create and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and Orchestration tools.Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and audits to ensure CMDB data accuracy and integrity.Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide estimates, and deliver effective technical solutions.Diagnose and resolve CMDB-related issues, including data integrity, integrations, and system performance.Support platform upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement initiatives.Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development or engineering experience.In-depth understanding of CMDB structure, CI relationships, and Discovery patterns.Proficient in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow platform configuration.Experience with one or more modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or SAM.Knowledge of Discovery, MID Server setup, and integration protocols (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.).
