Purpose of Position

Working with the maintenance team, the Electrician is responsible for keeping multiple Ready-mix Concrete Plants operational. Responsible for the calibration of the plant’s instrumentation. An understanding of instrumentation and plant control systems is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to all safety policies
  • Ability to work long, flexible shift over time, when required
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule in support of production change
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments independently using logic and good judgment
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to the North Indiana Concrete Division
  • Troubleshooting all electrical and control-related problem
  • Responsible for performing routine calibration on instrumentation
  • Must wear appropriate PPE at all time
  • Must have initiative and exhibit safe good judgment
  • Must perform with safe work practices at all times


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent requirement
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Must know pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
  • Must have working-level knowledge of electricity, electronics, and instrumentation
  • Must have general computer skills
  • Spanish Speaking, Bilingual a Plus
  • Must be licensed to pull an Indiana electrical permit.
