Role Overview:

As a Capacity Planner, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our cloud infrastructure. Your primary objective will be to assess supply and demand dynamics, determining if we have the capacity to fulfill orders within specified timeframes. Working closely with supply planning leads, you'll strategize and execute plans to optimize resource allocation and mitigate any potential risks and bottlenecks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze demand reports and assess supply capabilities to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and data center resources.
  • Identify and address potential risks associated with capacity constraints.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic planning decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in capacity planning or supply chain management within cloud infrastructure or data center environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, data center hardware, and cooling systems.
  • Ownership mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
