We are seeking a Senior Financial and Operations Analyst to join a dynamic and rapidly growing organization within the manufacturing industry. This newly created role will play an integral part in providing analytical support to improve decision-making, drive operational efficiency, and achieve strategic financial goals.


The ideal candidate must have a strong background in financial analysis, advanced Excel expertise, and experience with SQL and Power BI. *Manufacturing experience is a must.


Schedule: hybrid with 2 remote days each week.


Essential Duties & Functions

  • Develop, analyze, and interpret financial models and consolidated financial reports.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
  • Partner with leadership to create and maintain financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Monitor and update financial forecasts based on operational and market conditions.
  • Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Use advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large data sets.
  • Utilize SQL to query and manage data from various systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing tools and processes to streamline financial and operational workflows.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, operations analysis, or a similar role. Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling, etc.).
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
