Program Overview:

Equiturn, a sector-agnostic, middle-market focused Investment Bank, is offering a Competitive Investment Banking Fall Internship Program for those who are ready to immerse themselves in the intensity of corporate finance. This program is designed to challenge and refine your skills through unparalleled exposure to high-profile deals and advanced training. Only a subset of our most exceptional candidates will emerge at the end of the program and will be offered a paid Junior Analyst position.


What Sets This Program Apart:

Intensive Banking Training: You will participate in mandatory weekly sessions covering advanced financial modeling, M&A advisory, capital markets, and more. These rigorous classes are designed to elevate your technical expertise to the highest level.


Real Deal Experience: Work directly with seasoned investment bankers on live transactions across industries, from initial pitch to deal closure. Expect to engage in complex financial analysis, client meetings, and complex financial strategies that shape the overall corporate landscape.


Client Exposure: Gain real-world client experience by shadowing senior bankers, participating in client calls, and contributing to deal negotiations and closings. You will learn how to deliver value and navigate the pressures of high-stakes client engagements.


Pathway to a Career: The top-performing interns will be offered a paid Junior Analyst position at Equiturn, launching their careers in one of the most competitive fields in finance.


Key Responsibilities:


Deal Execution: Assist senior bankers in executing transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic advisory assignments.

Financial Analysis: Assist with the modeling of in-depth analysis, aid the development of complex financial models, and collaborate on valuations that support major transactions.


Client Interaction: Collaborate with internal deal teams to prepare and present client-facing materials


Training Participation: Engage in weekly training sessions focused on refining both technical and client-facing skills. 


Qualifications:

Top Academic Performance: You are currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field, with a proven track record of academic excellence.


Technical Mastery: Strong command of Excel, financial modeling, and valuation techniques. Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting is a significant advantage.


High-Pressure Resilience: You thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and are able to maintain composure and deliver excellence under pressure.

Leadership & Ambition: You demonstrate exceptional leadership potential and have the ambition to drive your career forward in the competitive world of investment banking.
