Client Principal - Sales Manager


Bitwise, a leading data and analytics consulting firm, is seeking a driven and experienced sales leader to spearhead the growth of our various Services vertical practice. In this pivotal position, you'll play a key role in helping various institutions harness the power of data to unlock competitive advantage, drive strategic transformation, and solve critical industry challenges. This role reports to the VP of Sales and will work closely with other senior leaders across the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the prospecting charge: Actively identify and engage with C-suite executives and decision-makers across banking, insurance, wealth management, and other financial services sectors.
  • Build enduring relationships: Cultivate deep trust and understanding of clients' unique data challenges and business objectives.
  • Craft compelling value propositions: Demonstrate how our cloud data services (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) deliver tangible business outcomes and competitive advantage.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals: Secure contracts that exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Develop strategic partnerships: Foster strong relationships with key partners like Microsoft, Google Cloud, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and Informatica.
  • Become a thought leader: Cultivate deep industry knowledge and position yourself as a trusted advisor on cloud data and analytics within the financial services domain.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in the Services industry, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and building strong client relationships.
  • Experience in developing creative and innovative prospecting methodologies to consistently grow pipeline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) and relevant financial services technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Services industry drivers, regulations, and data models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in clear, concise language.
  • Problem-solving and consultative approach, with a passion for understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
