Kaya Life Cannabis Clinicians is a medical marijuana clinic with offices located in Gulfport, MS and the Florida Panhandle. Our mission is to help individuals and their loved ones find wellness and improve their quality of life through the use of medical marijuana. We offer physician consultations for treatment with medical marijuana to qualified patients.


Role Description

This is a full-time office and in-the-field role, fulfilling duties of Medical Marijuana Practice Manager, Patient Support Specialist, and Community Outreach Educator. The selected candidate will primarily work from our Gulfport, MS location and assist with development of our new locations in MS such as Hattiesburg and Ocean Springs. As the Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the medical marijuana clinic, ensuring efficient patient care and compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will provide patient support, guiding them through the registration and consultation process, answering their questions, and providing them with necessary resources and information. You will also frequent local marijuana dispensaries and physician offices to assist with community outreach and education. You will also assist with the growth of the practice.


Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a medical practice role preferred
  • Enjoys speaking to patients over the phone and in the office
  • Enjoys working on the phone, at a computer, and with a team
  • Strong knowledge of medical marijuana laws and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients
  • Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
  • Knowledge of Gulfport, MS area healthcare resources and community organizations
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed
