System Administrator

This position is a contract-to-perm and will require frequent onsite work in Woodward, OK

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in large enterprise IT environment
• CompTIA Network Plus, and/or Security Plus, and/or A Plus, and/or CCENT, and/or MCP certification
• Microsoft certifications preferred
• Previous experience in Microsoft Active Directory preferred
• Previous experience with network and/or security infrastructure
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred

The Systems Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Completes service requests and incidents based on documented knowledge articles meeting defined service level agreements (SLA)
• Performs Continual Service Improvement for processes
• Develops and maintains knowledge articles
• Performs Problem Management processes when needed for issue resolution and serves as an escalation point for Tier 1 helpdesk personnel
• Maintains system standards
• Performs regular assigned security monitoring, daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of any scheduled jobs
• Provides technical support assisting in the resolution and correlation of problems through effective methodical troubleshooting
• Monitors service availability (Email, Backup, Share point, File Shares / Transfer, Patching, Electronic Medical Record, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
• Installs application packages according to documented procedure adhering to licensing agreements and instruction provided via Service Transition process.
