Onboarding Specialist


LHH is currently partnering with a Global consulting firm looking to bring on an Onboarding Specialist. This is a long term contract opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent employee. This position will be hybrid and require onsite work 1-2 days a week in their Bowie, MD office. The position will be between $24-$27 per hour based on experience. 1 year of prior HR experience supporting onboarding or recruitment is required. Please apply today for more details.


Onboarding Specialist will play a crucial role in welcoming new employees to their organization and facilitating their successful integration into company culture. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating positive experiences for others.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires
  • Develop and maintain onboarding resources, including checklists, handbooks, and training materials, to support the onboarding process.
  • Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in onboarding to inform ongoing improvements and innovations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in onboarding, HR administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with new hires.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Experience working with remote or distributed teams is a plus.
