Microbiology Technician

My client is looking for an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join their team This role is key in ensuring environmental safety and data integrity for our laboratories.
This position is a CONTRACT role for initially 6 months, high likelihood of extension.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental sampling to support our Environmental Monitoring Program.
- Operate laboratory instrumentation and use computer systems for accurate data collection and recording.
- Perform advanced microbiological assays with precision and adherence to analytical standards.
- Complete all routine and special project testing following established protocols and cGMP regulations.
- Uphold data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to Good Documentation Practices for all reporting and recording activities.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with attention to timelines.
- Computer literate with strong attention to detail and high reading comprehension.
- Basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation.
- Effective communication skills for seamless collaboration with team members and supervisors.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or Biological Science.
- 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
