Member Service Representative

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to members by handling a variety of transactions, providing financial advice, and assisting with account inquiries. Prior experience working with a credit union is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality service to credit union members in person, over the phone, and via digital channels.
- Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
- Assist members with opening and closing accounts, as well as updating account information.
- Respond to member inquiries regarding account balances, loan products, and credit union services.
- Identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services.
- Resolve member issues and escalate concerns as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions.
- Comply with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working at a credit union is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in handling financial transactions and a good understanding of credit union products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with credit union software and systems is a plus.
