Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to members by handling a variety of transactions, providing financial advice, and assisting with account inquiries. Prior experience working with a credit union is required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality service to credit union members in person, over the phone, and via digital channels.
  • Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
  • Assist members with opening and closing accounts, as well as updating account information.
  • Respond to member inquiries regarding account balances, loan products, and credit union services.
  • Identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services.
  • Resolve member issues and escalate concerns as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions.
  • Comply with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working at a credit union is required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in handling financial transactions and a good understanding of credit union products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with credit union software and systems is a plus.
