ExecuSource has partnered with a reputable healthcare group in Duluth, GA in the search for a Clinical Pharmacist to work within their oncology department. This is a direct-hire/permanent opportunity with a Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p with rotating weekend and holiday coverage schedule. Experience within oncology is preferred but not required.


What you get to do:

  • Manage all medication-related needs for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and those undergoing stem cell transplants.
  • Deliver patient care for inpatients, outpatients in infusion centers, and outpatients in physician clinics, including daily patient rounds across all settings.
  • Conduct extensive patient and staff education, spearhead investigational drug research, supervise technician compounding in outpatient environments, implement medication safety protocols, and oversee all medication management policies and procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive training for pharmacy students and residents in both PGY-1 and PGY-2 programs.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage a high patient volume, work collaboratively in a team, exhibit leadership skills, and show an interest in direct patient care, projects, quality improvement, and medication safety.
  • Prior experience in oncology pharmacy is preferred, with a particular emphasis on those who have completed a residency or have experience in leukemia, lymphoma, or stem cell transplant.


What you need to succeed:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy
  • Doctor of Pharmacy OR Master's Degree with completion of a residency in the assigned clinical area or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years of previous hospital pharmacy experience
