We are currently hiring for a Paralegal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the legal department in all aspects of the company's legal function. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and have exceptional organizational skills. Great opportunity to join a fun and creative team. This role is on site 5 days a week.



Responsibilities

  • Review and draft routine legal documents
  • Organize and maintain files
  • Facilitate the meeting of attorney deadlines through teamwork, keeping organized schedules, and providing timely reminders
  • Forming and dissolving corporate entities and maintaining records regarding same
  • Managing consistency between project documents
  • Preparing abstracts of legal agreements and ensuring entry into appropriate database for tracking
  • Coordinate with legal and project teams to formalize reporting requirements with monthly team meetings on each project
  • Keeping minutes for critical meetings
  • Coordinate with legal and project teams on insurance and other risk management issues
  • Renewal of Local Business Tax Receipts and Certificates of Use companywide, and maintain database and tracking of same
  • Assisting with initial drafting of form leases, tracking key lease terms, and compliance
  • Coordinating with outside and inside counsel



Qualifications

  • Experience as a paralegal and/or legal assistant
  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
  • Good writing skills (MUST)
