Low Latency C++ Software Engineer

Salary: $200k-300k

Total Comp: $400k-800k+ (dependent on experience and performance)

I am partnered with a high frequency trading and market making firm actively looking for C++ Software Engineers to join their Options Market Making team in Chicago.


You'll build software to develop and deliver custom-solutions that optimize performance and efficiency.


Core responsibilities for the role:

  • Build and enhance trading systems and platforms in C++
  • Optimize systems with focus on low latency, high performance, stability and low error tolerance
  • Work closely with Quants and Traders, across different teams, to define priorities and deliver custom solutions.


Crucial required experience covers deep C++ knowledge, mulithreaded application and design, and distributed system expertise.


While prior financial experience is not mandatory, a keen interest and eagerness to learn about financial markets is essential.
