Our client is seeking a Full-Time Air Compliance Manager to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Houston-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with site and corporate staff to comprehend site-specific processes and operating procedures for supporting Air Quality Regulatory Compliance effectively.
- Gather relevant data from site staff, contractors, and corporate staff to demonstrate compliance with monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain Air Quality Compliance Plans and Procedures for the site.
- Prepare and update air emission inventories, associated background data, and weekly and monthly Air Quality Compliance reports.
- Conduct site walkthroughs and coordinate periodic stack tests and fugitive monitoring surveys.
- Assist in conducting Air Quality Compliance training sessions for site staff.
- Aid in performing internal site audits of Air Quality Compliance activities.
- Research and interpret federal (e.g., NSPS, NESHAP) and LDEQ regulatory requirements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Air Quality Compliance. Management experience in Louisiana is preferred.
- Familiarity with EPA and Louisiana Air Quality regulations, with a comprehensive understanding of Title V and PSD Permit programs.
- Proven knowledge of air emission calculations and emission reporting procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Previous work experience in the LNG or other oil and gas sectors is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
- Transportation TWIC required (current holder or ability to obtain).
- Must possess a current, valid US driver's license.
- Must be able to work in hot and humid environments, outdoors, and lift up to 50 pounds.
