Moving Forward Counseling is a counseling center located in Sandy, UT. We specialize in providing counseling services to individuals struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, and traumatic events in their lives. Our mission is to support and guide our clients on their journey to overcome these challenges and move forward in their lives. We offer individual, family and couples counseling. We also offer a mental health primary diagnosis Day Treatment and IOP as well as Med Management.


Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mental Health Counselor. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to individuals dealing with various mental health issues. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting therapy sessions, performing treatment planning, and maintaining client records. While the primary location for this role is in Sandy, UT, some remote work is also acceptable.


Qualifications

  • Treatment Planning, Mental Health, and Psychology skills
  • Experience in Relationship Counseling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to empathize and connect with clients
  • Master's degree in Counseling
  • Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the State of Utah
  • Experience working with individuals struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, or trauma is a plus
