Role Description

Experienced office based clinical MEDICAL ASSISTANT needed with an outpatient clinical research organization on a Full-Time basis. Clinical Research experience preferred, but not required. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB.


Qualified candidate will assist the research team in the implementation and conduction of clinical trials per federal, state and institutional guidelines by performing tasks delegated by research team members including investigators, managers and coordinators. Responsibilities during all phases of trials from pre-study implementation through study closure are included in the scope of this position.


Candidate must have a willingness to learn all aspects of all Phase I-IV studies. Needs to be team oriented, outgoing, self-starter and have an eagerness to learn. Ability to work independently once fully trained. Must be willing to travel for training and between offices as necessary. Pay based on experience.



Qualifications


  • Medical Assistant Degree
  • Previous experience in clinical research coordination or a related role
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and the regulatory environment for clinical trials
  • Familiarity with research methodologies and data collection techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications




Additional certifications and experience in specific therapeutic areas are highly desirable.
