Data Center Administrator


Robert Half is actively looking for a skilled Data Center Administrator to join our team in a hybrid role, with onsite responsibilities in Sandy Springs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing data center infrastructure and be proficient in troubleshooting, virtualization, and network management.


Note: Hands-on Nutanix experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and associated hardware and software
  • Monitor and analyze system logs to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Manage virtualization environments using VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV
  • Support hyperconverged infrastructure systems
  • Administer server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server and Linux
  • Utilize network management and monitoring tools to maintain operational efficiency
  • Manage Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 environments


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure and related hardware/software
  • Expertise in VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV virtualization (required)
  • Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (required)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools
  • Experience in AD management, Exchange management, and Office 365 administration
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and customer service skills
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication abilities
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record as per company policies
