Job Title: Data Team Manager

Location: Castle Rock, CO

Pay: $125k-150k/year

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Navigational Data Team: Oversee a team responsible for managing global navigational data updates on a 28-day cycle.
  • Data Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure high standards of data accuracy, especially in the context of aviation navigational data.
  • ARINC 424 Expertise: Familiarity with the ARINC 424 data format and specification.
  • Team Management: Coordinate and manage a team primarily located in Ukraine.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to expand data coverage and address challenges.
  • Project Execution: Plan, execute, and deliver data-related projects on time.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Vendor and Contract Management: Oversee vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Business Intelligence (BI): Leverage existing data for BI efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years in data management or analytics leadership roles.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong technical background to understand complex issues.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Leadership and Communication:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders.
