The ideal candidate for this position will provide excellent project management for planning, and organizing all aspects of residential and commercial projects including roofing, windows and doors, storefronts and railings. As part of this role, the manager will work closely with our estimators and then manage and oversee all field operations including vendors, subcontractors, and in-house crews while acting as the point of contact to handle any issues regarding each project.
We are needing one candidate to handle and oversee the roofing side of the business. High-end residential projects including but not limited to metal and tile roofing knowledge and experience. This candidate will also assist with commercial projects that consist mostly of TPO roofing but knowledge of all roofing materials, building, and safety codes is a plus.
The other candidate will be handling the windows and door projects. This will require slight handyman/multi-trade experience with framing, stucco, and the misc. items that come with new doors and window installation.
Both candidates should have knowledge and experience with electronic devices, email and basic computer knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Recruit, qualify and hire subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Experience in commercial roofing applications and safety requirements
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
