Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Location: Onsite in Trenton, SC

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Trenton, SC facility. The ideal candidate will have expertise in multiple maintenance disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections and identify opportunities for improvement in equipment performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process improvements and optimize equipment efficiency.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues with PLCs, motors, conveyors, and other machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Record maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance technicians as needed.
  • Assist with facility maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, and building repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Electrical, Mechanical, & Electronic Competency: The candidate must have strong skills and experience in electrical, mechanical, and electronic maintenance disciplines. This includes proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing equipment across these domains.

Ability to Pass the Multi-Craft Maintenance Assessment: Candidates must demonstrate their competency by successfully passing the multi-craft maintenance assessment. This assessment likely evaluates their knowledge and skills in various maintenance areas, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to Troubleshoot PLC Experience: Proficiency in troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is essential for this role. Candidates should have hands-on experience with PLCs and be able to diagnose and resolve issues effectively to ensure optimal equipment performance.
