Apex Systems is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join a growing client in Denver, CO.


Duration: 6 month contract, potential to extend and convert to FTE

Onsite Requirement: Onsite 5 days a week in Denver, CO (Parking included)


Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of Tier 1 IT support experience
  • Strong ticketing/escalation experience
  • Understands the importance of detailed notes
  • Jira ticketing experience or similar
  • Experience supporting 0365 and related software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Active Directory experience (PLUS)


Day to Day responsibilities:

  • Tier 1 ticket support
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems for local and remote end-users for approved hardware and software
  • Follow support processes with attention to detail
  • Research issues using available information resources
  • Log Support Desk incidents and requests through the ticketing system
  • Identify and escalate incidents requiring urgent attention
  • Communicate with users on the status of incidents and requests
  • Ensure incidents are complete and resolved from start to finish promptly
  • Identify and escalate application incidents and drive issue resolution together with co-workers
  • Explain concepts to users in laymen's terms during projects and support duties
  • Communicate in a personable, positive, and friendly style
