Now Hiring: CNC Machinist – Second Shift Lead (Sterling, VA)A high-precision manufacturing operation in Sterling, VA is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist – Second Shift Lead to take ownership of evening operations and drive quality, efficiency, and team performance.This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a steady-paced, high-mix/low-volume environment and takes pride in producing tight-tolerance work for industries such as aerospace, defense, technology, and advanced manufacturing.Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Pay: $27–$32/hr (based on experience)What You’ll Do• Lead the organization, setup, and productivity of CNC machines • Oversee machining workflows to ensure smooth operation and on-time delivery • Inspect completed parts to verify precision and quality • Troubleshoot machining or production issues and implement corrective solutionsWhat You Bring• 3+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace environment preferred) • Strong background in both CNC and manual machining • CAD/CAM proficiency — Mastercam experience is highly beneficial • Ability to set up and validate production on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes • Experience with Siemens, Fanuc, and Haas controlsIf you’re a precision-driven machinist ready to step into a leadership role on second shift, this is an opportunity to make an impact and grow your career.
