You will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education using the FrogStreet and Conscious Discipline curriculum.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Implementation: Effectively plan, organize, and implement the FrogStreet and Conscious Discipline curriculum to provide a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate early childhood education program.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages active exploration and fosters independence and self-regulation through Conscious Discipline techniques.
  • Student Engagement: Engage children in hands-on activities, play-based learning, and interactive lessons that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Individualized Instruction: Assess the individual needs of each child and adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and developmental levels.
  • Parent Communication: Maintain open and positive communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and collaborating on strategies to support each child’s growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, assistants, and administrative staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational community.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and the implementation of the FrogStreet and Conscious Discipline curriculum.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the FrogStreet and Conscious Discipline curriculum is a strong advantage.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
