We are currently seeking a skilled shop technician to manage the repair and preventative maintenance of small and large engines and various equipment including those used in agriculture, landscaping, and construction sectors. This role requires proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical problems in advanced, technology-driven machinery. The position may involve onsite client visits.


Applicants must have experience with small engine repair, and should possess a personal toolbox, be adept at using technical support applications, and able to handle service records and billing documentation. Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial, along with teamwork, safety prioritization, and a strong service orientation.


Job Specifications:


  • Proficient in handling mechanical issues in diverse equipment from commercial mowers to portable engines.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; a keen sense of humor is advantageous.
  • Capable of simple digital record-keeping and composing service reports.
  • Effective in dynamic, demanding operational settings.
  • Collaborative attitude with potential for leadership roles.
  • Self-driven with a commitment to achieving outstanding results.
  • Ability to conduct standard maintenance on various small machines, including but not limited to brands like Stihl and Honda, covering pressure washers, lawn mowers, utility vehicles, and smaller tractors.
  • Adept at maintenance activities such as blade sharpening, oil changes, and parts replacement including filters, spindles, and belts.
  • Knowledgeable about components such as air filters, spark plugs, and belts.
  • Comfortable utilizing hand-held and powered tools.
