Flyers Cocktail Co produces the World’s Most Awarded Hemp Cocktails, and is looking for a hungry go-getter to open and support sales in the Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas markets for us. You should be an energetic trailblazer that is eager to drive new placements, sell-through, and loves working with people.

Flyers Cocktail Co is a Brooklyn-based startup, passionate about providing consumers with incredible, hand-crafted, non-alc hemp D9 cocktails. Our ready-to-drink cans have won 34 awards in the last year, including a feature in Forbes as Best Hemp Cocktail of 2023. Flyers Cocktails are infused with 5mg of D9 hemp, which is federally legal under the 2018 farm bill.

We are looking for someone fearless, organized, and outgoing, with relentless follow up. Ideally, you have worked with alcohol distributors before, either as a distributor sales rep or a brand sales rep.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work alongside our distributors to sell Flyers cocktails into liquor stores, chain groceries, and on-premise accounts throughout Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas. Conduct ride-alongs with our distributor’s sales team, facilitating sales, gathering feedback, and keeping our brand top of mind. Support sell-through in existing accounts through staff sampling, promotional execution, and relationship development.

This role will report to our Regional Sales Manager, who has years of experience growing CPG brands and working at RNDC

• Work towards monthly sales targets
• Support out distribution partner through ride-alongs with their team, effective management tactics and follow up
• Sample and pitch retail locations on Flyers, opening new stores
• Own POS and merchandising in our locations
• Identify sales leads and an approach to tackle them
• Support sell-through in existing accounts through sampling, swag, and relationships
• Monitor and execute promotional strategies in our retail locations
• Collaborate with marketing on sales needs
• Occasionally attend and work Flyers sponsored events
• Manage a brand ambassador schedule, running effective tastings and monitoring ROI

Requirements:

• 1-10 years of previous sales experience
• Experience working with a distribution partner, ideally in the alcohol or non-alc space
• Has a car and lives in Chicago and is willing to travel frequently
• Sees “no” as an opportunity to turn into “yes”
• Consistently follows up with accounts
• Has a collaborative, adaptive, and optimistic attitude
• Is self-driven and can work effectively autonomously
• Is excited about the hemp space and passionate about our products
