Pride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Oak Park, IL. This is a 3 month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Responsibilities:

  • Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
  • Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
  • Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
  • Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.


Education/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.


Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Oak Park, IL

Schedule: Mon-Thu 12:00 pm-8:30 pm, Fri 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Pay Range: $20 to $25/hr (*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
