Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Scientist at Geo Enviro Consulting & remediation LLC located in Piscataway, NJ. The Environmental Scientist will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, collecting and analyzing environmental data, and developing and implementing plans to remediate hazardous materials. The Environmental Scientist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify environmental risks and provide customized solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting, environmental remediation, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and guidelines
• Experience with environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to write technical reports and proposals, and to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental assessment software
• OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training is a plus
