You Are:

  • KNOWLEDGEABLE: High school diploma or equivalent required; Understanding of NFPA standards and state and local building and fire codes preferred
  • EXPERIENCED: Previous fire alarm inspections experience a plus
  • A SELF-STARTER: Learn quickly and use your resources to be successful in your role
  • ANALYTICAL: Ability to read and understand technical information, analyze, think critically, and problem-solve
  • FLEXIBLE: Possess a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record; travel to client sites regularly


What You’ll Do:

  • CUSTOMER-SERVICE: Provide reliable, excellent quality customer support through on-site inspections and preventative maintenance services on fire alarm systems
  • KEEP TO CODE: Ensure that inspections are compliant with local, state, federal, and district codes, regulations, and specifications
  • INSPECT: Perform inspections on fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA and Authority Having Jurisdiction
  • DOCUMENT: Recognize and accurately document deficiencies found during an inspection
  • COMMUNICATE: Provide thorough and timely information to clients; Communicate status of work orders to supervisors and other office staff
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS: Maintain positive working relationships with field and office staff
  • HANDLE: Lift inventory, bend and stoop, carry and move materials, and load and unload vehicles
