What is the position:

The GIS Analyst will utilize the company's Geographic Information System and tool set to perform various loading, operational, and monitoring activities on several large-scale GIS projects.


What will you do:

  • Perform file maintenance on GIS databases
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and implementation tasks
  • Perform database queries
  • Perform spatial analysis.
  • Perform research to gain the information needed to update and/or revise the GIS databases
  • Maintain or modify existing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases.
  • Manage projects across departments, coordinating resources for project delivery.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders, management, and other team members on project plans.


What are the requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field.
  • 1-2 years of GIS or related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS/ArcView and Google Earth.
  • Knowledge of third-party software used with CAD and GIS to manage electronic survey data
  • O&G industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GIS software processes and geodatabase maintenance.
  • Ability to learn new software and GIS systems quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, workflows, and processes/procedures.
