Position: Azure Engineer - Hands On

Location: Remote

Rate: $70-80 per hour W2 ONLY


Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Azure Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our API capabilities and setting up a new Azure environment while ensuring HITRUST SOC 2 compliance. This position is initially a contract role with the potential to transition to full-time.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Azure Environment Architecture (Hands-On):

· Collaborate in building and configuring a production-ready Azure environment.

· Define Azure resources and architecture to meet business requirements.

· Implement load balancing solutions for optimal performance.

· Establish and manage access permissions to ensure data security.

· Monitor and maintain the Azure environment to ensure it operates efficiently.

2. API Management:

· Play a key role in API development and expansion.

· Work closely with existing resources to understand and document current APIs.

· Test and authorize APIs in the production environment.

· Provide insights and solutions for API security and performance enhancements.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in Azure environment setup and management.

· Strong understanding of Azure services and solutions.

· Proficiency in API development and management.

· Knowledge of REST and SOAP protocols.

· Familiarity with API security standards and best practices.

· Understanding of HITRUST and SOC2 compliance, with the ability to incorporate these standards.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Willingness to work within specific working hours, if required
