As a Principal Project Engineer, you will lead the execution of complex engineering projects related to medical devices and ophthalmic products. This role requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Coordinate with R&D, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure adherence to FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 5+ years of project engineering experience, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
