Job Description: Data Center Manager

Summary: Seeking a DC Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, enhance facility efficiency, and ensure adherence to safety standards. This role is critical for maintaining essential infrastructure 24/7. Strong leadership and effective communication skills are essential for team collaboration and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and optimal facility performance.
• Manage maintenance of power systems, cooling infrastructure, and security protocols.
• Work closely with IT and engineering teams to streamline hardware deployment and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for equipment procurement and maintenance.
• Implement and refine operational procedures to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to promptly address potential issues.
• Lead and manage an operations team, providing guidance and fostering collaboration.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements.
• Be available for on-call emergencies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure adequate staffing and high morale at the site.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for site performance.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a critical infrastructure environment, with DC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DC hardware, power distribution, and cooling systems.
• Proficiency in electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
• Adaptability to changing technologies and industry standards.
