Software Engineer - (Angular/Node)


Optomi in partnership with a world leader in the entertainment industry, are seeking a skilled Angular/Node Fullstack Developer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and backend services. You will work on a variety of projects, from enhancing existing platforms to creating new interactive experiences that captivate our guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Angular for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.
  • Implement responsive designs that deliver an exceptional user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of software releases through automated testing and other quality assurance processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive business value and improve efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer, with expertise in Angular and Node.js.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries like React, Vue.js, or AngularJS.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
