To excel as an Electrical Engineer in the realm of Solid-State Lighting technology, candidates must have:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Strong controls experience


Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficiency in engineering software like SolidWorks PCB, Fusion 360 PCB, PCB, and PC Worx.
  • Strong grasp of lighting fundamentals.
  • Expertise in Electronics Design Engineering, PCB design, LED arrays, and mathematical skills.
  • Self-motivated attitude and a customer-centric approach.
  • Competencies in structured text, C, C++, and JavaScript programming.
  • PLC programming to IEC 61131-3 standards.
  • Familiarity with LED technology, power supply, heat sink thermodynamics, optics, and Solid-State Lighting components.
  • Experience with DALI controls.
  • Knowledge of BLE MESH, Wi-Fi systems, and low voltage development.
  • Proficiency in Modbus, BACNet protocols, and familiarity with IoT solutions.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
