Clinical Psychologist OpportunityBestica is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide support at healthcare facilities throughout the San Diego, CA area.Benefits and Details:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life10 days PTO11 Paid Federal Holidays401(k)Supportive, collaborative work environmentLocations:Positions are available across various clinical sites in the San Diego region.Mandatory Qualifications:Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from an APA-accredited institutionCompletion of an APA-accredited internship in psychology OR a one-year fellowship/residency in health psychology or behavioral medicineMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience within the past 4 yearsCurrent, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any U.S. state, D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin IslandsU.S. CitizenAbility to pass a NACI background checkTasks and Responsibilities:Practice within state licensing guidelines, APA Ethical Principles, and facility-specific privilegesConduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, testing, and collateral informationEstablish psychiatric diagnoses in accordance with the DSMProvide individual and group psychological treatment and help patients manage illness or injuryAssist with patient rehabilitationDeliver brief, consultation-based services within an integrated primary care modelProvide timely feedback to primary care managers regarding findings and recommendationsAssess the appropriateness of primary care–based services and assist with treatment plan implementationDevelop behavioral health interventions suitable for primary care settingsProvide brief follow-ups, including relapse-prevention educationDevelop and teach classes promoting psychological and physical well-beingDocument patient care within 24 hours of each encounterParticipate in group medical appointments, including Shared Medical Appointments (SMA) and Drop-in Group Medical Appointments (DIGMA)Offer clinical insight and technical direction for relevant projects at the site of service
