Hiring For HSSE Specialist


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and enforce safety policies: Ensure a workplace free of hazards, comply with OSH Act standards, and enforce administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
  • Lead and manage safety programs: Lead the site Safety Committee, establish and update operating procedures, and manage the site PPE program.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections: Examine workplace conditions to conform to OSHA standards, complete various audits, and provide corrective action plans.
  • Maintain safety training and records: Maintain company training records related to safety, such as forklift certification, First Aid, and Dangerous Goods.
  • Liaise with external agencies: Work with the fire department and other agencies regarding the site safety and health program, and assist in responses to OSHA inquiries and investigations.
