Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Technician to join our team in Hermitage, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cable systems for residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain cable systems, including TV, internet, and phone services.
Perform diagnostic tests on cable lines and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Ensure all installations comply with company standards and local regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and questions.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cable Technician or similar role.
Knowledge of cable systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in telecommunications or a related field.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
