Social Media Marketing Intern

Triple Play Academy, LLC is a softball instruction company based out of Atlanta, GA. Our goal is to help the next generation of athletes learn and grow in this great sport. We are looking for a paid social media intern to help with our marketing efforts. This is an opportunity to build a portfolio in the sports industry, learn more about different aspects of social media marketing, and get hands on experience in content creation.


Responsibilities

  • Develop social media content and copy for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts
  • Assist with the production of video content (filming, editing, and sharing)
  • Discover new trends that are relevant to the industry
  • Engage with similar accounts and possible clients
  • Track analytics and engagement on all social media sites
  • Create and maintain a content calendar
  • Other tasks, as assigned


Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Impressive organizational skills
  • Desire to learn more about social media marketing
  • Personal and/or working experience in social media
  • Interest and/or experience in the sports industry
  • Interest in social media management and content collection/creation (videography, photography, graphic design, etc.)
  • SOFTBALL / BASEBALL EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED


Internship Details

  • Paid internship
  • 10 hours a week for 5 weeks, possibility for extension
  • Previous working experience not required
  • If you are located in Atlanta, need to be able to commute to the Buckhead or Decatur area, depending on need of content collection
