This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join a talented team. This opportunity allows you to design custom work and work with the company's own line and various brands from Europe and Japan. Join a team with a transparent, happy, flexible, engaging, and rewarding company culture and environment.


As a Junior Interior Designer, you will support the design team in various aspects of the design process, including material sourcing and ordering, concept development, and client communication. You will also assist in creating design presentations, managing project documentation, and coordinating with Contractors and vendors. Understanding all things FF&E, including custom furnishings, lighting, and rugs, is key. This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow with a talented, tight-knit firm.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Interior Design Experience from design-specific firms.
  • A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred
  • Proficient in design software, including Studio Designer, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with schedules, emails, communication, measurements, drawings, and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Understanding of construction and building codes is a plus
  • Reliable car and willing to travel
