Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjusting: Make necessary adjustments to machine settings as needed
  • Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions
  • Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
  • Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
  • Communication: Effectively collaborate with others both verbally and in writing


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Must have experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Prior Maintenance Technician experience required
  • Excellent skills in root cause analysis
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Interpret Electrical Drawings
  • Basic PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley, IDEC)
  • Ability to interpret PLC code is a bonus
  • Knowledge of Motors and Drives AC and DC
  • Knowledge of automation machines, and automation processes
  • Able to interpret machine schematics and models for mechanical function
  • Identify problems and offer solutions or modifications to existing systems
  • Possess interpersonal skills and be able to communicate on all levels
  • All other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 to 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Etc.)
  • Self-Managed individual that works well with others
  • Must have knowledge of safe work practices.
  • Able to multitask and perform well under pressure.
  • Must have basic hand tools and toolbox (Roll around)


Physical Demands:

  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to access work areas
  • Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 35 Lbs.
