Product Process Supervisor

We're seeking a Technical Product Process Supervisor to oversee manufacturing processes in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized environment. Your role involves ensuring process compliance, coordinating engineering and quality changes, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll supervise team members, analyze quality data, manage process changes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with various departments and stakeholders is key to drive product enhancements and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise bargaining unit employees
  • Manage Process Sheets via Advanced Manufacturing Planning System (AMPS), ensuring standardization across shifts
  • Analyze quality data, prioritize issues, and recommend improvements
  • Lead part/process changes affecting the floor
  • Audit process parameters and optimize strategies based on results
  • Identify and address root causes of quality issues
  • Ensure proper handling of non-conforming parts
  • Collaborate in continuous improvement activities and lead kaizen projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical/engineering discipline
  • Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as needed
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to engage with employees at all levels, from hourly workers to senior leadership
  • Goal-oriented with leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering
  • Previous manufacturing supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with union environments
  • Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
  • Ability to interpret engineering documents and design specifications
