Job Description

***Only qualified Programmer Analyst candidates located near the Richmond, VA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Required Qualifications:


• Proven experience in R programming (5 Years)


• Considerate web development experience using ShinyApp.io (5 Years)


• Excellent verbal/written skills for documentation and training processes (5 Years)


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently


• Strong communication skills



Desired Qualifications:


• Experience with AWS, CSS, and JavaScript for UI/UX design (3 Years)


• Experience with Web/Angular and DB/SQL, and Python (3 Years)


• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) is a plus



We are looking for a skilled Web Application Developer with extensive experience in R programming and ShinyApp.io to join our team. The ideal candidate's primary responsibilities will be designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven web applications that leverage R for statistical computing and data visualization and also occasionally support/bug fix our existing tools designed and developed utilizing Angular and Python.



Programmer Analyst Responsibilities:


• Develop interactive web applications using R and ShinyApp.io


• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create intuitive user interfaces and dashboards


• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across different devices


• Integrate R-based applications with APIs, databases, and other data sources


• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing web applications

Additional Details:


* An onsite interview is recommended; however, a virtual interview via webcam is also possible.


* The candidate will work onsite 3 days a week after completing the required training, subject to approval from Client managers.
