Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced composite characterization
  • Perform polymer, fiber and FRP mechanical testing
  • Maintenance of composite materials characterization equipment.

Requirements

  • Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Materials/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
  • Basic materials characterization experience (Optical/electron microscopy, TGA, DSC, DMA/Rheology)
  • Preferred experience with experimental mechanics (Instron/MTS, Tensile Testing)
  • Familiarity of polymer composites
  • Matlab experience preferred.
